Dual Citizenship Seminar March, 2012
The Fiji High Commission in its strategy to encourage former Fiji nationals to take up dual citizenship and benefit from investment opportunities in Fiji is organising seminars in Auckland and Wellington in the last week of March 2012. These seminars will provide the opportunity for former nationals to be informed about the requirements relating to dual citizenship. The seminars will also disseminate information on Fiji's tax regime and incentives, on repatriation of funds and on investment opportunities. This knowledge would be useful in the decision to take up Fijian citizenship and invest in business or retire in Fiji. Personnel from the relevant Fijian agencies including the Department of Fiji Immigration, the Reserve Bank of Fiji, the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority and Investment Fiji will be resource persons/speakers at the seminars.
